ABOUT THE AUTHOR

A native of Los Angeles, California, Henrietta D. Elmore-Smith has been employed as a collegiate administrator with the University of Southern California, where she also obtained her Master’s Degree in Public Administration; in conjunction served on the administrative staff of the Chancellor’s Office at the University of California Los Angeles.

She is a member of the League of Women Voters, the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., the University Staff Club (USC), and the First A.M.E. Church of Los Angeles, where she is steadfastly musically inclined.
